The Word of God was written by men through the divine power of the Holy Spirit. It is without error, perfect, complete, and everlasting. Therefore, all Scripture is faithful and true needing nothing else to be added to it, or taken away. It is the final authority, and reveals the standard by which God judges mankind, and is the core foundation of hearing and understanding our faith, and how to be made right with God. The Word of God is embodied in Jesus Christ. It is His testimony, and He is the main focus of the entire Word of God. It is alive, supernatural, and has the power to convert the soul of mankind.

There is one and only one true and living God. He is all powerful and all knowing. He is the Beginning and the End of all things. He is the Creator, Spiritual, and personal Being. We were created by Him and for Him, and to Him we owe our lives, love, and obedience. The triune God reveals Himself to us as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Within this, He is complete and whole, needing nothing.
God the Father is the Creator of all things and reigns over His universe. He cannot change, cannot lie, and is everlasting. He is our judge, and is right and holy with how He judges. He is all knowing (omniscient), all powerful (omnipotent), and is everywhere (omnipresent). He is our Father when we become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the eternal Son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of a virgin birth. Jesus revealed God and did the will of God throughout His life on earth. He humbled Himself by taking the form of mankind, yet, He was perfect and without sin. By His sacrifice on a cross, Christ took our sins and our punishment and died a criminal’s death. He was raised to life again and through His death and resurrection, we can now be reconciled with God by the blood of Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. He inspired men to write the Word of God. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, reveals the Word of God to us, directs our steps, and guides us to the will of God. When one surrenders their life to the Lord, the Holy Spirit takes home in their life and seals them as a child of God.

Mankind is God’s special creation that is made in His image. In the beginning, God created man and woman. They were created without sin and had perfect fellowship and unity with God. Through the temptation of Satan, man fell into sin causing a broken relationship with God and brought sin and death into the world. All mankind has sin as a result, and only by the grace of God can be brought back into a relationship with Him. Because of sin, man’s eternal destination is a life apart from God because there is no place for sin in God’s presence.

Salvation is found in nothing else, and no one else, but in Jesus Christ. It is a free gift that God gives us through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus. When one calls on the Name of the Lord, they are saved from eternal separation from God, and will have an eternal home in heaven with our Lord and Savior forever. No one can ever earn salvation, nor can it be lost when one becomes a child of God. Through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, one can now be made right with God through believing in Him, and repenting of their sinful lifestyle. Salvation is instant, and is not something that is earned over time, but at the moment one calls out to Jesus. Through confession and repentance, we are justified and set-apart from the world and are brought into the family of God.
Confession – Admitting we are sinners in need of a savior, and that Christ died on a cross for our sins and rose again on the third day concurring the power that sin and death had over us.
Repentance – Renewing one’s mind and lifestyle through the Word of God and the conviction of the Holy Spirit.
Justification – when we believe and repent of our sins, we have been justified by the blood of Jesus in the presence of God. Justification brings a believer into a relationship of peace, joy, and favor with God.
Sanctification – the believer is set apart to God’s purposes and moves forward in spiritual maturity and growth through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in them.

Baptism is an outward declaration of an inward decision we have made to follow Jesus. While baptism is not what saves you, we believe that baptism by full submersion of water is the believer’s next steps in following Jesus. When one stands in the water, it represents us (before Jesus) standing in our sins, as we go backwards submerged in the water (this represents dying to ourselves), the water represents the blood of Jesus, and when we come up from the water, that is us as a new creation in Christ.

We believe that God designed marriage to be between one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union between each other as was the design in the Word of God before sin. We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to be between one man and one woman who are married to each other, and that God does not command any sexual activity or sexual engagement outside of marriage between one man and one woman.

The church is not a building, but is the gathering of believers who come together to make the body of Christ, have fellowship with one another, exercise their gifts, participate in the Lord’s communion and baptism, and extend the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Each member is responsible and accountable to Jesus Christ. The church’s officers are men who are qualified to be pastors and elders, and men and women qualified to be deacons.
