Hello friends,
As we find ourselves in a new year, let’s be sure to start it off by not wandering through this year aimlessly and without purpose!
The Apostle Paul wrote:
“Don’t you know that the runners in a stadium all race, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way to win the prize. Now everyone who competes exercises self-control in everything. They do it to receive a perishable crown, but we an imperishable crown. So I do not run like one who runs aimlessly or box like one beating the air. Instead, I discipline my body and bring it under strict control, so that after preaching to others, I myself will not be disqualified” (1 Corinthians 9:24-27 CSB).
Let’s begin this year with purpose and seeking the Kingdom. Let’s start by knowing His Word daily. Having it carved in stone on our hearts. Growing in fellowship with others, and going into the world to share the hope that we have in Jesus. Let’s seek God’s direction for our lives and align our priorities with His will and start fresh.
Blessings,
Pastor Matt
